New locator calls
« on: March 11, 2019, 06:30:13 PM »
Been wanting to spin up a couple locator calls to try out this year. One was turned from zebra wood and the other was out of a laminate that is possibly the worst wood to turn I've ever seen. One is for me and one is for my hunting buddy, can't wait to give them a spin!

nice

hope they get you some yotes, that'd be cool to bring them in on something you made yourself.

edit:  oops didn't realize I was in the turkey section of HW  :chuckle:

Thanks, these are crow locator calls for turkeys but I would like to make some predator calls in the future!

I'm not sure, I got it from my grandpa. He used to work on recurves for Martin archery. But whatever type of wood, it is a pain to turn

Interesting - would probably make a good striker for pot calls!
