I've always had the ultimate respect for officers and all first responders, even more so now a days.  It takes a truly unselfish person to be a police officer in today's age.  Prayers to the families.  So sad.

I believe this option is better as they would get all the donation instead of using gofund me and them taking their cut.

I have the same urge to inquire, and if so, I expect there will be plenty of time to discuss.  I hope that we can have separate threads for the thoughts, prayers, and support for the families, and the political implications.
