Picked up my buck and bobcat today
« on: April 19, 2019, 06:02:23 PM »
Very happy with  my mounts, this is my first deer and bobcat. Glad to have them to remember the  hunts-  I had pretty much given up ever getting a deer  but eventually went out on a VERY windy day and got lucky  this guy was on the hunt for a doe.
Hubby called in this bobcat I saw it come from a couple hundred yards off then come and just sit there , so hidden that I kept losing it in my scope.

I really like that bobcat. My wife would cry if she saw that. She is cat lover and that pose looks like a cat we used to have. Who did the taxidermy?

Thanks! Yes the more I look at the bobcat, the more I like it.
Rick at Cedar River Taxidermy did the work :)

Those look good  Are you having any of your bears done?
I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies

In November U.S. manufacturing contracted for the the ninth consecutive month. Layoffs across the economy are higher than anytime since the pandemic in 2020 and I just read that the Midwest farmers will be receiving a 12B bailout due to 50 year trade relationships being destroyed. I have to admit that I was a sceptic and didn't believe in the effectiveness in tariffs but I'm a believer now.

Very cool

No - they're too big- maybe shoulda had the first one done, but I don't really regret it.
