07' & 08' Bucks
« on: March 27, 2009, 08:58:19 PM »
Heres a mulie I got over in Dayton in 2007 opening day.    And the second photo is my 08' whitetail on the left and my brothers whitetail on the right. Also in Dayton.  Love hunting that east side!!  :)

Is that muley a mountain buck, or a wheat field buck?

Just wondering.  I moved here in 2001.  Have shot 5 wheat field bucks and 1 in the mountains.  Mountain buck had nice, dark antlers.  Deer are a lot more scarce up high though.  Nice bucks man. :rockin:

A lot of Dayton is Private, and which I hunt private primarily, but I did shoot that whitetail on the left up in the hire hills.  If you get above all the wheat fields, its primarily open and there are some great bucks and elk in there
