Oregon hunting trip
« on: October 25, 2007, 02:53:27 PM »
Here are some pictures from a Elk and deer archery combo trip that I did  a couple years ago in Oregon, missed a bull and ended up taking this 7x6 whitetail on the last evening of my hunt.  I seem to kill a lot of my animals on the last day right down to the wire, I guess persistance pays off.  I will post the pictures of some of the canyon we were hunting.  Hells canyon wilderness area.  Steep steep country.  He just barely missed the book for typical class, he has an extra tine on one side and to many deducsions.  The way the scoring system is it keeps some decent animals from making it.  One of these days I put one down that will qualify.  Hope you enjoy.
