Have you ever looked into the eyes of a wolf? Why would I want to look into the eyes of a killer.

How else will you see your soul? I do agree that hunting wolves isn't effective. They should be destroyed entirely in Washingron. When they wiped out the indigenous wolves a hundred years ago they brought the wolf and livestock conflict to zero.

That's never going to be an option in WA again. We need to work within the existing situation and get people to understand that training wolves to fear humans will be the most effective deterrent to conflict. We accomplish that by killing them on sight when we have the opportunity. This is why delisting nationally and on the state level is crucial.
Pman is full of wisdom!

I’ll also say that someone’s opinion (professional or otherwise) should be completely written off when they start saying crap like seeing your soul in a wolf.

These things are nothing more than animals. Predators in a predator/prey ecosystem and should be treated as such. At this point they will not go away but should absolutely be managed and should learn to fear humans and civilization.

Not sure how they came up with the conclusions they did, but as of 2016 both major WA state universities that actually researched the wolf/livestock concluded that killing wolves did decrease said conflict so long as you kill enough of them. Sounds out of this world mind blowing, I know.
Kill to hunt, hunt to kill!
