I'd be surprised if we see any bears before MAY. If not the middle of MAY.

I saw a bear on the 15th and my boss saw another in a different area near where I saw the one.

What unit?

Bear river. Hung cams a few weeks ago and seen fresh track.  Would be his first bear.

Thanks. He’s got a few deer and close on his elk but he was ten then and he’s 13 now. Been a few years since he’s been out. Got him a bear cruzer and working on 40+ lbs draw for elk season.  He can split the lines on a target at 100 yards w the rifle so we should do good if we find em.  I put one of the cams facing this trail in photo. Might have been sow and cub cause smaller track was on same trail. Smaller track looked older though.  I had the tag 3 years ago and seen no bear but I have a feeling it’ll be different for the boy.

Tuff hunting out there boys and girls! 22 miles of boots on the ground last weekend with not a lot of bear sign. Bear River Unit, most yocals I talked to had seen bear in their yards. Seems like most bears are holding on private property. Hopefully I'll get another shot to get out before the season ends. Good luck out their folks!
