And who is janice brookshire? Other than a delusional fool with a disneyesque view of nature?
“It is not a fact that killing wolves is an effective means of solving conflicts between wolves and livestock,” Ressler said.BS! First of all, any wolf killed won't be causing any more conflict. So, right there, she's stupid. And it's well documented worldwide that when you start killing wolves, they retreat into more seclusion from humans. This is exactly what's needed. Our state government's pandering to the Defenders of Wildlife and other radical environmentalist and anti-hunting groups is getting tiresome and the results...well, there are no results other than a siege of the businesses and families of the NE corner. I am adamantly opposed to poaching...until such time as the government fails to take appropriate action to protect our citizens and their assets. Delist and manage. This is so far out of hand it's crazy.

We need to work within the existing situation and get people to understand that training wolves to fear humans will be the most effective deterrent to conflict. We accomplish that by killing them on sight when we have the opportunity. This is why delisting nationally and on the state level is crucial.
