RV cover recomendations

Been looking at RV covers on Amazon.  Looks like many of them either easily rip, or rapidly degrade/rot with UV exposure.

Who uses them, and what brand have you found good?

Be nice to have one custom made with 20oz truck tarp.  last longer than your rv.  lol

They will eventually create wear marks on your roof if you have any kind of breeze or wind.  Go with a hard cover or none at all.  I have seen it wear a hole on the roof edges, the rubberized roof, even when installed properly.

We had an 18x32 car port built, around 4,200, never looked back! Took the company about 2.5 hours to build.

Totally agree and I want and plan to build a cover.  With wood prices at an all time high, and budget strained on my end, that will need to wait a bit.  So I want a soft cover in the interim.

Has anyone been pleased with a cover?

Seems like a low price though.  good Reviews for the most part though.

My neighbor has that same cover. It will work just fine. Anything to keep the water from sitting up there all winter will work. It also keeps the leaves and debris from sitting for months at a time. I would purchase that one and it will last you several seasons until you are able to build a structure to cover it.

Also store your trailer nose up so the water runs off

If you have lots of wind be careful tying extra straps around any cover you use. In my case the cover had holes wore in in from the wind rubbing extra ties against it.

lasted 2-3 years until this year wind got ahold of it and ripped all the way down the side. Don't remember brand can look if the cover bag has a tag later, think it is still down in the garage.

Hi,

Used a cover on a previous trailer years ago and,.... sorry but don't recommend them.

After a few years the expensive cover had holes and rips and had caused wear marks on the trailer walls. Worse yet were the wear-thru marks on the corners of the roof's membrane from the abrasion of the cover on it.

I wonder if it would reduce roof abrasion if a heavy canvas tarp was layed down first?

I did this with mine, really helped with the camper abrasion, but the cover itself still got shredded by ropes and wind.

I have an ADCO and it’s on it’s 3rd season.  Has a couple of abrasion holes now, as they covered I then wrapped or covered the sharp items below with old towels.  Pretty sure it will go 2 more season at least.
