What rangefinder

I Find the leica easier to get narrow readings on vs sig 2400. Like stump at 700 yd. If ranging big areas like hillsides no difference.

I recently got the Nikon black 4k and it's more rangefinder than I'll ever need....my friend has the vortex 1500 and my cuz has a sig2000 and the Nikon has out performed both ...I was dead set on a sig till I seen this one, hard to beat for the price

Have a Vortex now, not sure which model. My brother had a Leupold but after a while it completely went crazy. To range something you had to put your hand over the end really fast to see the read out, or else you couldn't see any numbers.

I would go with Sig if you want a great range finder - Leica is a great option for range finder /bino combo. I have both - I use the Leica combo for rifle hunting and the Sig 2000 for archery as the combo is not a good set up for bow hunting

I love my Sig kilo2200. I had some trouble ranging deer with it in the snow this past season. Had to exactly put the laser on the deer instead of being ok with the ground around the deer. I’m not 100% sure but I think that’s probably common to all range finders.

The sig kilos are awesome.  Own two of them and they have been superior over any of the Nikon or Leupolds I’ve owned previously.   

Wish sig still make the 2k without all the ballistics bs….best rangefinder ever.

+1 for the sig kilo. The lowest range version is a black crosshair though I think. The 1600 I have is red cross hair and I’ve ranged out to 900 with it in sunny conditions.

Big fan of the ballistics system paired with the phone app. You get a readout on the rangefinder with the amount to dial. Can go from spotting something to dialed and ready to shoot very quickly. App is easy to use, very intuitive.
