I run black Ovis and am super pleased... way better than my first hunts 12+ years ago when I was 18 and all I had was pillow cases and Allen bags

Another vote for Black Ovis game bags! They have worked out great!

Im guessing all the synthetic bags are similar. I may never know because these Caribou bags seem to last forever. I roll my eyes when people say pillow cases and cotton bags work as good as synthetic bags for much cheaper. I can't think of a better investment when it comes to hunting gear than good synthetic game bags.

Grain bags.  Get them at a grange or brewery for free. Pull the solid plastic liner out and you have a woven plastic breathable bag the weighs nothing, folds down to nothing, and will hold a hundred pounds easy.

Whats difference from Allen Bag to Black Orvis?  Like Allens for back country .

I'm running Caribou, and have been for about 3 years now. They seem to be holding up great.

Thanks for the responses!
Never heard of camofire before, looks a little dangerous to impulse buyers like myself!

It is.  I have to force myself not to go on there. Check out black ovis. It's the same company but it's actually an online store. Less impulsive.  Lol

Guess I'm the only one here with Kuiu bags. I've had them 4 years now and packed multiple animals every year. They have held up remarkably well. I love that I can pack meat to camp, switch them to heavier canvas bags or cooler or whatever, and basically just rinse out the synthetic bags. Hang overnight and they're ready to rock and roll again the next day.
I hunt, therefore I am.... I fish, therefore I lie.

I have the Caribou bags and the Allen bags. Also have a couple of the kifaru meat bags. I like them all. The caribou bags seem like better quality bags and the Kifaru bags serve a different purpose I think.

This.

They're free and work great.

No need to rinse and re-sue because......   they're free.

Started using the synthetic bags (Caribou) a few years ago. They’re great! Especially when you consider its definitely in the realm of possibility that one could carry those empty bags around for 5, 7,9,10 days in a row+without ever using them! That’s under a # times how many miles/day compared to the heavier duty canvas ones I used to sport😏
