April - Waterfowl Retriever Training Day - Monroe, WA

Whistling Wings Training Day - Monroe, WA

When: Sunday, April. 14th, 2019 10:00 AM Start Time
Where: 17126 State Route 203, Monroe, WA

If you are not familiar with the club we are a group of like minded retriever enthusiasts and hunters who meet to put on training days and UKC Hunt Tests.

I have live ducks for my own training currently and I'm planning to bring a few down so that anyone with a young dog that needs the exposure can have the chance! Good opportunity to do an intro to live ducks and not have to do all the leg work to get live birds or deal with all their crap!

Training Days are what the club is really about. Training days provide the opportunity to train and teach your dog how to be a retriever. The club brings out the trailer of equipment and birds (ducks) to give your dog the experience it needs for either hunting or Hunt Tests. Additionally, members provide members with the tips, things to work on, and any other information you need to help improve your dogs field work.

Training days are perfect whether you're training your dog for upcoming Hunt Test Season or wanting to work on some skills for waterfowl season. If you don't have a dog or are interested in getting a dog, come out and see what it's all about.
Your first time is absolutely free. We don't want you to worry about anything but coming out and having a great time and learning something or teaching us something new. Lunch is provided.

We setup several scenario’s to replicate testing and training for varying ranges of dogs abilities and training. There is something for everyone!

Sounds like a good time. I would go but I am tired of winning all the time
The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.

I'm currently without-dog, so I will try to come over and help load launchers, or whatever.... Brody dog is at camp for a month.
