my first decent homebrew pics (elk)
«

Had it out for about a month and only got 4 crappy pics in the dark, with the elk too far out for the flash to work well. Finally got some daytime shots (about 85 over the course of 24 hours). I need to make a new case, because the glass covering the lens cracked (probably my fault when cutting it), thus the hazy line in the top right corner of every pic. Also, I think I need to drill the holes bigger for the flash and autofocus assist light.

The W120 which is a little slower than the W80/90, so I had to get a custom board from yeti.

Very Cool Pics.
I just went and picked up my first picks today. One little passing doe shot. but I am excited anyway.
What software did you use to put in the moon phase time stamp etc?

I wrote my own program that computes moon phase, sun & moon rise/set times, draws it all on the image and exports it as a new jpg... It's lacking a little functionality right now, and it's Mac only, but eventually when I have time to iron some things out, I'll release it as freeware.
If there are any
Mac
users (10.4 or higher) here with homebrew cams that want to beta test it, send me a PM. No guarantees
