My yearly question. Out of pomeroy, up the mountain road (040) how far can you make it now? Thank you for any input.

Don't know about Pomeroy... but I could see fresh snow in the Blues from Walla Walla while scouting for turkeys last night.  Raining this morning and chilly. I assume that means more... :P

Havent been down there yet this year but I've never been over there before first third of may where you didnt get jammed up hard due to drifts.  I dont even bother going in April anymore.

Call the Forest Service in Pomeroy.  They generally have road conditions, that seem to be accurate.
Give them the road number (40) and they'll line you out.

I'd venture to say you're not making it past Rose Springs, until May 1.
If you aint hunting, you aint livin'
