Heavy back end and slender head maybe a sow?

That’s what’s throwing me off. The fur on the front legs and shoulders is pretty thick but the back end is much thinner, but doesn’t show up well on those clips though. I’ve seen a couple other bear so far this spring that all looked much leaner on the back end but were a similar over all size.

168 exactly.  In grains.

That should read 260 grains sir! What kinda weeney gun are you using!?  :chuckle:

You’re all running small bores, I was thinking more along the lines of 300-350gr from one of the 375s.
Hey now! My 260 is from a .375! I haven’t run out of them and needed to dip into my 300 Accubond stash!  :chuckle:

Still not sure if my 375 is really enough for a bear at 50-60 yards.  :dunno: :yike:

Young bear, narrow head, big ears..... Probably would be surprised with how much "ground shrinkage" this bear would have... maybe 120 lbs. in my opinion....

 :yeah: 120 maybe!

I was back out in the area I saw that bear today (didn't see anything though) and I got a measurement on that stump in the video. The stump is a touch under 2 Mil wide, so at 370 yards that's about 25" just to give some scale.

Honestly, I'd be surprised if that bear went 120; still makes for some quality eating!!!
