Pumped For Some Rope Draggers
« on: April 15, 2019, 08:52:06 AM »
Who else is excited to get out in the woods after some long beards?! Starting Fri, I am hunting non-stop for 7 days alone in one of 3 locations I'll be trying out. Whats everyone else plans?

Same here. Starting Friday and hunting the weekend in the NE. Have multiple landowners with birds, should be good!

Two weeks of hunting for me. I'll be chasing Easterns first and with any luck Merriam's then Rio Grande's. I start on Wednesday. All turkey, all the time!

 :IBCOOL: Good luck!

I'm going to try some solo run&gun at least one day this month. May dates is TBD. I've gotta stick with weekend-warrior hunting, saving up my vacation days for deer and a couple other trips.

headed to the Klickitat area Thursday morning, first try down that way. Usually go to the N.E. corner but going to try something a little different this year. Buddy says he's seeing a lot of birds on property that I can hunt on. Might try to get one with my bow this year too.

Got One nice Tom down this morning. Going back out tonight. The wind needs to die down a little.

This weekend taking out an active duty sailor off the Nimitz.  Maybe I will hunt but priority is the sailor for me.

Thanks but I think my biggest hunt will be taking out a 13 year terminally ill boy from Ohio the first weekend of May.  During that weekend is also the NWTF Washington State Hen and Jakea day.  Diamond Lake Cowles Scout camp.  Saturday teach from field to plate.  Sunday mentor hunters will take them all out to bag some turkeys.  This will be a weekend to remember.

Trying to post a pic in the 2019 thread but it’s posting really big. Trying to fix it.
