My 300 loves H1000. One of the best powders I use. Unfortunately like you said I can only find one pounders, I try to buy at least six or seven of the same lot when possible.

Lots of it out there now if anyone else is looking. They must have done a run on it recently.  I've had trouble finding it in the past but was suprised to see it all over the place while on the search for Retumbo.  If anyone has a location for 8 lb Retumbos send me a PM please!

Ha!  That's funny, but you forgot the mention the super secret handshake. 

It worked out great, you needed it, and I knew I'd never use it, so it was a win win.

That’s why I have 16lbs under the bench.  Nothing worse than running out of powder. I seem to find H1000 works in all my rifles.  338 edge. 300 Norma Improved. 7 saum. It’s not a speed demon.  But most consistent powder out there for big mags.
