What is the best bow sight for a decent price?

I just bought the Truglo carbon hybrid for 50 bucks off amazon and am quite happy with it so far. Easy to adjust, replacement pins are cheap, and it's lightweight.

I absolutely love my HHA.  It is not exactly the cheapest but it is an amazing sight, easy to tune in and deadly accurate at 80 yards.  What I love most about this is that you can use your range finder, smoothly and quickly turn the knob to that yardage and send it.  No need to write down pin distances in case you forget or have the distraction of multi-pin.

just under $200 at amazon.  Like it more than my old spot hog multi-pin. A LOT more.

I've got a truglo tool less on my current hunting bow. 5 pin. Cheap, reliable, bright pins. but on my NEW hunting rig I want to give the MBG ascent 3 pin mover a try.

I'm thinking of upgrading my setup as well, curious to the regulations about rheostat lights. I've noticed several models have them. Are they legal or do they fall under the no electronics rules of WA state?

Define "decently" priced.    Bow accessories in general seem ridiculously expensive, but it is what it is. I have been using MBG black gold 3 pin slider for several years and recently upgraded to the "pro" edition. The ascent rattled a bit, but was extremely solid and survived some pretty severe torture without changing POI. The pro has been great as well. Quieter and micro adjust is nice. Anything rugged that moves is going to cost. Solid fixed pins on the other hand are much cheaper.

Snohomitch...... lighted sights require a battery and are categorized as electronic attached to bow. Illegal in WA.

I plan on experimenting with very small glow sticks taped to the sight housing for artificial light in a blind. No batteries, covered with electrical tape so they can't be seen outside... I think it will work.

Cant have them, they just unscrew, still have mine in bow case, but per the regs "no elecrical or electronic devices except for illuminated nocks, attached to the bow or arrow while hunting"

a good single pin thats used, best bang for the buck. If you want a new one then ebay it, camofire and other sites can help. The best site is the one you can pull up on a bull or buck and fire right away. if you have to do any adjusting or any mental math then it would be something I would pass on.

I love the design of spot hogs. Pin adjustment is easy.

I'm a spot hogg fan for hunting sights I don't think you can beat them only problem not cheap.

Another spot hogg vote here.  I would discourage single pin slider to anyone hunting.  Just last year alone I know of two guys that wounded elk because they each ranged and dialed in their single pin sliders.  The elk came in closer and they had to guess where to place their pin because they drew their bows and were ready to shoot.  The elk was too close to let down and readjust.  I guess if you practice enough with one you could get good at making aiming adjustments.

Steelhead, I've had excellent luck with the Black Gold sights.  For a hunting bow, I'd recommend just an old school four pin sight; set your pins, lock em down, and hit the elk woods  .

I think if you're a slider guy a 3 pin slider is a great option.
