Yeah, scratching Wyoming antelope for sure and maybe a MT hunt as well.  I'm still in for Utah bison, but the odds are way low.

Thanks, I'm really trying to keep it a family DIY, but may change my mind through research.  I'll keep him on the list.

I would love to hire a guide and up my odds, but this is going to be a family deal.  I think back to our WY antelope hunt and the head I have on the wall and after talking with my wife we both want an all or nothing family deal.  We'll likely be spending New Year's in Jackson, what an experience that will be in addition to the hunt.  I also have one buddy lined up and am working on another.  I'm not the best woodsmen around, but we work hard, have fun and will give it all we have.  If I can get three families in on the deal we'll have as good of odds of filling the tag as possible and a trip that nobody will forget.

I still can't believe I drew, this is my #1 bucket list hunt and something I though I didn't have much of a chance to do in my lifetime.  Back to research, thanks to the guys that have already reached out.

Wyoming bison is one of my dream hunts. I’m sure you’ll be able to find some free pack mules. I haven’t put in the last couple years, but we had an agreement with some friends that if anyone drew we’d rent a place in Jackson and make a big family vacation out of it. The non tag holders would go skiing or do whatever and then drop what they were doing when the tag holder called with an animal on the ground and the non tag holders would get to keep whatever they could carry out.
