Was thinking over a stand from the Coyotes point of view today, and remembered how completely puzzled domestic dogs look when they hear a non-human sound come from a human, and I got to thinking... do coyotes even realize the sounds that drew them in came from a human?
When they make a human, what if they think something like, “Oh dang a human! That rabbit isn’t worth the risk, those humans are dangerous!” or, “Man! That human already has that rabbit! I’m outta here!” I got to thinking, what if they bug out, and then come back later looking for leftovers from that rabbit they heard?
Have you guys ever noticed coyotes scouting around areas you called earlier in the day? Like maybe they avoided it when you were there, but then went to look for that animal they heard once you were gone?
