Karl, is the larue breaking at about 4.5 lbs?  The mbt 2s?
Mine breaks consistently at 3.5 ( with the light spring)
Anyone that thinks a Glock is better than a 1911 paints his toenails.

I have 3 Geisseles (SSA-E, G2S, BRF) and 2 LaRues. Can’t go wrong with either. Depends what you like and what you want to spend.

I personally shy away from any of the drop in assembly types. Though I hope they never get used for it, al of my guns are built to function as defensive guns. I won’t sacrifice reliability for anything. I like having good triggers, but I’ll only buy something comparable in design or durability to a Mil Spec trigger. The SSA is a battle proven (the select fire variant is issued to SOCCOM) design for a quality trigger.

I'm thoroughly enjoying both triggers. The CMC went into my prairie dog rifle and the LaRue is in the lower that my daughter is using in the grendel and the .223.  The grendel is about done.  It was doing ok with factory but not amazing.  Trigger, brake, and some handloads fixed that.  I'm gonna try and milk some more velocity out of it but for now 28gr of h335 and a 123 eldm is shooting very nice

Tried a bunch of them and settled on the CMC 2/2. They are a solid trigger, super smooth to pull straight through or 2lbs to the wall. Then they break like glass at 2lbs on the second stage, for precision work. I prefer the flat shoe model.
