Bass pro vortex scopes
« on: May 15, 2019, 10:49:16 AM »
Bass pro has a 6 month payment plan no interest. I am looking for a new Vortex scope for my .243 around 600 bucks. What’s your opinion

Thanks

I'm not a real big fan of Vortex scopes, although I have four of them and for the most part, they've been decent.  Of the four I have, three of them are the Razor HD LH 3-15x42 and the other is a HS-T 4-16x44.  Not sure Bass Pro or Cabela's carry the Vortex Razor HD LH anymore and they'd be above your price cap.

The Vortex HS-T I have is actually a pretty decent scope for its price range and that would be the one I'd recommend.  I just bought a new Seekins SP10 and that HS-T 4-16x44 I have sitting on the shelf will be going on it.

jstone, I have a Vortex Diamondback 4-12x40 BDC on a Browning AB3 .243 and it’s been a great scope. It’s my lowest priced scope, but, performs very nicely for only costing $200 bones.  :twocents:

Vortex or Leupold would both be good choices in that range.  I have a Vortex for sale for half your budget:
