Pictures don't do him justice... btw I've grown up a little bit since then! lol

He had an unbelievable amount of fat on him, and his skull officially went 18 7/8"... I thought it would've been a little bigger for how much he squared...

good heavens those are some big bears.  I know they're out there.  Biggest bear track i have ever seen was in 154.  Caught one good sized boar on my trail cam last year.  Couldn't get a good look at him though.  Got some smaller ones too.  No luck last year though, and no luck getting drawn this spring either.

Thanks!  I can't wait to get him on the living room wall in our new apt come the middle of May... that along with 2-3 deer mounts and hopefully my cougar rug that I want to get done over the summer will sure impress the ladies that come over! haha  too funny both my and my roommate got gf's...

That rug sure cost a lot of money though well worth it!

There you go... break 'em in early.  If she doesn't mind hanging out at your apt with lots of dead stuff on the walls now, it won't come as a surprise later...

Wish I had thought of that 15 years ago.. :bash:

She comes from a huge hunting family and doesn't mind 'em at all... she actually has gutted and hauled out deer for her brother/dad before.  She enjoys it....   :o

Too bad the only thing we need to work on is the cookin skills! lol

Yeah good luck Bowsandhose!  I hear there are grizzleys in the blues, but that was a few years back and I'm not sure how substantial the source was....  I know one day we saw scratch marks on a tree from the DOWNHILL side that were higher than 8'!!!  Thats a BIG BEAR! lol
