Put a couple of fillets on the smoker over the weekend and I gotta say this Salmon blew anything available in the Spokane area out of the water. The first thing I notice when I open the package......NO FISHY SMELL. I think you've ruined me. Keep the fish train rollin' to Spokane!!

Met up with Chris today in Everett and scored (I think) his last 2 bags of prawns.  Great looking stuff, can't wait to snarf some down.  Thanks man.  Great guy.  I'll be throwing business his way for a long time.
Look man, some times you just gotta roll the dice

Thanks to all for the interest and the business.  I really enjoyed meeting a bunch of you for the first time, and seeing some old friends again.

One thing I heard over and over was something to the effect of "I normally like to catch my own, but between my busy schedule and the lack of opportunity, this is a good second option."   I really appreciate the opportunity to fill in the gaps for team HuntWa, and look forward to stocking your freezers with a wider variety of products for years to come.

Thanks again to everybody who bought or expressed interest.  Keep your eyes open for future opportunities!

Anyone on the fence about buying fish from Skillet, rest assured he is a real stand up guy!  Fish and prawns are fantastic.  We had a minor order mix up and he jumped all over it and fixed it super fast.  Looking forward to ordering more in the future!!  Thank you!!!!

4 of my 12 pounds of prawns are already gone.  :(

They are so flipping good.
Also been eating a little of the roe raw.  Can't be bad for me, right?

Thanks again Skillet!

I will definitely be doing another winter group buy, hopefully adding a few more product choices as well.

Thanks again Team HuntWa, and keep your eyrs peeled for another group buy!

Depends on how you feel about eating shrimp turd. I’m far from an expert, but I put them in boiling salted water. Usually until they float, this is maybe two minutes. Then remove and put them in ice water to stop the cooking. Then I peal and split along the back to de-vein. Cook however you want from there.

Easy peasy way to prep i do, thaw in water for a few minutes, take a pair of kitchen scissors and cut up the shell about 3/4 to the tail, gently squeeze at the tail and pull at the same time and the meat pops out, clean the vein off of it and then cook as you want....super easy.
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.
