Westside trail camera bear
« on: May 25, 2019, 01:31:18 PM »
I just set this trail camera out a month ago in a new location, and I've counted, I think, something like six different bears on it. But this one seemed to stand out. I have very little experience judging bears, but he sure *walks* like he's big.

How big would you all say it is?

I'm no good at guessing weight, but this one is interesting.

He doesn't look @huge@ but he sure walks around like he owns the joint.

Cool videos.

Hes a nice bear. His head looked decent.. ears are pointing more outwards than upwards. Lumbers when he walks.

he's walking funny...makes me think something is wrong with one of his front paws---looks maybe his front right.  I shot a 3 legged one about 10 years ago outside humptulips that was missing his front right leg just below the elbow and walked like that.  obviously he has all 4 legs but my bet is something is wrong with one of them.  belly that big already by this fall he'll be a biggun.  pig of a bear for sure.  beautiful coat.  I weigh over 250 and that bear is bigger than me. yeah I know that big shaggy coat makes them look big but there will be no ground shrinkage on that guy
