I don't have that reticle in mine, but I have the Conquest 4.5-14x50 and I really like it.

On a .270 wsm the reticle marks are "for the most part" right on. Switching loads does make a difference for the longer range marks in the reticle
Very Very Very great optics when compared to other high end brands

I've read that the Zeiss w/ the ballistic charts built in can only be used on the power that they were sighted in at. Has anybody else heard this about Zeiss or any of the other optics w/ the ballistics in the glass?

I've got 4 of em, my oldest was purchased right after they came out, has resided on my 257. No problems with any of em, great glass. I would recommend checking these guys out, pard has 2 ziess' with the speed hunter nob. Low profile, and VERY accurate.

I bought a 3.5-10 x 44 for my .270 last year with z-600. I like the scope a lot.
I bought a 4.5-14 x 50 for my .300 rum with the z-800.
You need to use the z-reticle calculator on their web-site with the information given and it will tell you exactly what yardage the hashmarks should be.
Yes if you go from a 165 grain to 180 grain the lines will mean different yardage ranges. The key is finding a bullet that you shoot in that gun and use those balistics. If you make lots of changes, you just need to know the yardage for each load.
Love the scope. Hopefully I will be able to show results in the fall.

I have a Ziess Conquest 3x9 with Z-Plex and it is great. I gave it to my oldest boy so now I have to buy a new one. I guess the wife can't say much since it went to my boy.

From what I understand looking at the zeiss calculator, is that each line is accurate with that bullet to at a certain magnification. I think if you used the calculator the box that says max magnification or something like that is what your power needs to be set at? maybe I miss understood it.
