Looking to get a bino bivy for the upcoming year, wondering what everyone has and likes?

Alaska Guide Creations has better coverage, but FHF is a little more slim. Can’t really go wrong either way. AGC is what I’m currently using.

I am happy with my Kuiu and have had it a couple years without any issues. I recently bought my son a Badlands so we can compare but he hasn't used it yet.

I have the Kuiu one and while it's fine, I'm not 100% pleased with it. It does not provide complete coverage so if it's really raining/snowing, or your busting brush, you will get stuff inside. I'll continue to use it because I'm stubborn, but if I had it to do over i'd go another route.

FHF. Only one I've ever owned so can't compare. That said, high quality, adjusts in the right places. Real good people running the company.

Rick Young minimal "spaghetti strap" harness, with a rain cover taken from another brand of bino harness.

The Rick Young is the only bino harness I've used that keeps binos tight to chest when I want them tight to chest, yet is QUICK and easy to use the binoculars. Versatile with several ways to snug up the glass. I hunt the wet and added a minimal elastic edged bino cover I modified from another harness. Works extremely well. Also the binos are easy to use with the harness attached when not on my bod.

Have owned and used half a dozen other brands/styles and am not looking back. With respect, I got so I disliked the S-4 because I could not get it to hold the binos tight against my chest and not tilt out at the wrong times. It also depends on how much stuff a hunter wants/likes on his chest, a very personal kind of preference.

Mine came with a rain cover that I have used to keep it dry and it seems to work OK for my use. Granted, I have gotten stuff inside when not using that cover, so I can see what you mean there.

I have a Badlands for the last8 years, and love it. They have 2 different sizes, I have the smaller one. Not bulky, an fit under my coat if I want to.

I know the AGC and FHF are the most popular it seems. But I think they open backwards. To me they should open away from the body. Right now I own the marsupial harness and the kuiu harness. The marsupial harness is better than any other I have used so far.

Ive had a bunch...sitka, muley freak, crooked horn, nim rod etc.
I now use FHF and really like it. Only complaint is it's not fully enclosed on sides.

Nim rod was the worst.

Sounds like AGC is a safe bet, ended up needing to send back the Vortex's to either get fixed or replaced. I'd really like a new pair of binos!

My AGC has been bomb proof for me. I love being able to use it as a mini pack for small essential items that i use frequently.

Only down side for me is that its loud.

I just got the AGC for my birthday. Used it for the first time last week on a 4 day scout in Idaho. Love it so far.

Carries my binos, rangefinder, wind-checker and some parachute cord.

I have one, found it on Rokslide for $60. It mounts well, but I did order some extra straps for stability. It sits right for me and doesn’t effect bow draw, will be plenty clear with pistol locked in. I almost got the same model for my current carry but I will be upgrading to the G20, so I found a paddle I can deal with for elk season.

I use the FHF Pro-M Compact with my Leupold BX-4 10x42s.

Bought a cheap radio pouch off Amazon and lashed it to the FHF and VOILA! - hunting/SAR combo harness.

Tactical Tailor https://www.tacticaltailor.com/minimav-1.aspx and add a pouch for your binos..and anything else you want on the panel. I carry Vortex Diamondback 10x42 in a pouch on one side, and few other things on the rest of it.
