I built this one on a savage 12fv that I picked up from a member here he had already installed a timey trigger. I picked up a threaded lilja 24 in on accurate shooter the hs stock on nw firearms including bottom metal and mag for 200 shipped apa lil b brake from Ebay 120 bucks and topped it off with an Nikon buckmaster 6-18 with mil reticle that was on a 7mm mag I plan on never shooting again. I can not say enough good about this gun what a pleasure to shoot. 0rnds down the pipe under 3/4 of an inch about the recoil of my son's. 223 that he was shooting next to me. Love it love it and of course it is in 6.5 creed and being bald a man bun gives me a warm feeling. Load testing done with rl17 and hornady eldx at the lans. Federal 210m primers in hornady once fired brass.started at 40.5 gr up to 42.5 gr in half grain  increments . Any suggestions in my groups welcome. I can only think this thing is going to shoot better after the barrel speeds up a little.

Looks like you are off to a good start!!  My only thought or response will be....RL17 was super temp sensative when I tried it.  If you are going to use that rifle in colder weather, I would not be relying on what you find at the range in 80-90 degree weather.  I sold all my RL17 for that reason.   I use H4350 with great results out of my savage stealth 6.5 .

Could not for the life of me get my chrono to read today so can't speak for velocity at 75 degrees. But I worked up the load I'm shooting in my savage lightweight hunter with rl 17  about the same temp and killed my black tail at 423 yrds on a 34 degree morning. I am a little worried that I may see over pressure at 90 degrees though. 4350 and rl 16 would probably be preferred but were not available locally at the time. I will probably stick in the middle with this rifle as it will be seeing alot more shooting than the leg and its tiny barrel.
