Way to go
I have been wanting to go, with how low the water is and knee still healing, I don't know if I could make the walk up and down the launch, it's a long way....... and my new knee is still in healing mode...... BUT, I do think I may be making a trip over to Riffe  with Ribka next week  :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:

Ive been hearing about the walk up and down the ramp being an inhibiting factor in use from several people. I pretty much saw that coming when the work was going on. I think I will talk to management and upper management and see if they are aware of the issue and if there is any way to alleviate the problem. I really think the ramps would get more use if they were more user friendly. Just not sure how receptive they would be to look for a solution.

Yeah for those of us that are unable to make that hike up the ramp, or have a disability,  it really makes it tough, we can't fish the lake I  our boats without someone with us to assist.

But honestly, that really is no concern for the powers to be.......

Being ADA friendly is not on their mind  :bash:  :bash: :bash:

I honestly think they are somewhat sympathetic to the disabled. That is why the put in the ADA parking, swim beach and  swim beach access ADA accessible. Hopefully something can be done about the launch. I'm sure it would be very expensive though.
