CZ 557
« on: June 10, 2019, 09:21:47 PM »
Anybody have any experience? Been thinking about the short action in .243 with a 20.5” barrel, but $700+ is a little  steep. Bud’s had them for $505, and I took the bait. I already have a .243 that’s the most accurate gun I’ve owned, but it just doesn’t have a soul. Hopefully I’ll bond with the new one with some time together in the woods.

Very good fire arms, I only have 4 CZ's .223, 6.5X55, 9.3X62 and a .22 all shoot better than me. The set trigger is a little odd but you'll get over it. I would take a CZ over a Remington any day, I think they are better made.  :twocents:

No set trigger on this one.

Late reply, but I just saw this.

Couldn't be happier with my 557 American chambered in .270 Win. Anything you're curious about in particular?
