Big Mac Special Sauce...
« on: June 11, 2019, 07:31:34 PM »
I do try to eat right most of the time, but, I can’t pass up a couple of Big Macs once in a while   How to make em at home though?  Let’s see, two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun. I’ve got the rest but how about that special sauce?  Found it  :chuckle:  May give a home made Mac a whirl this weekend

Let us know how it turns out.  I hate paying 6 bucks for a Big Mac burger if I can make at home for 2.

Yes, almost as weird as someone who orders Filet-O-Fish from McDonalds

The sauce is easy, figuring out how to home replicate the mystery meat without a full laboratory is the challenge.   :peep:

LOL, no doubt about that!  I think I'll forgo deciphering/replicating what the Mickey D's mystery meat is and just use grilled beef burgs and see how that shakes out.

Big Macs aren't Big Macs anymore. They are most likely sorta Big Mac now. Special sauce is good old Thousand Island dressing. Litehouse is the very best to be used.....
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

Anybody that claims Thousand Island is the same should be ashamed of themselves. Y'all need to get out more  :sry:

Lol. Then in the recipe the first thing they say... it’s just Thousand Island with more sweet pickle relish.
