I’m sure I’ll have lots of questions throughout this adventure, another one I have, should I bring my quad (not road legal)? Are there areas I can access w my quad?

Unfortunately in Colville National Forest there are very few small sections of road that you can take an ATV/UTV (street legal or not) and by the way the roads are not marked.  According to the NFS LEO who stopped us in street legal UTVs, it's our responsibility to check online or stop in the Forest Service office in Newport to see what roads are open or closed.  Worst part is, the Idaho side of the same forest is all open to ATVs.

I did not bring mine on my hunt. There’s not really anywhere or you can use them, and just having it in the back of your truck will have every forest patrol and game warden stopping to make sure you aren’t using it. Save yourself the headache and just bring pack boards or even better a friend with horses.

Hard to put a whole moose in the back of the truck if you have a quad in the way.

I just put two and two together and realized that you are the Jerry that drew bull moose when I was in the room.  I didn't connect the dots until now.

Congrats man, looking forward to the story as it progresses.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

lol, thanks man! Can't wait to get over there and get to know the area. The only time I've seen my name as a witness, I was the first loser!
