34 degrees and it just started snowing here!  Still haven’t seen a moose in two days of scouting!  I would put the Selkirk unit last on your list of moose units!  Lol

Chill man. There’s moose there. Relax and enjoy the ride. You have a long season.

Good lord Jerry! Ita been 2 days  :chuckle: I dont think I'd label it the worst unit ever just yet  :chuckle:
It is foolish and wrong to mourn these men.  Rather, we should thank god that such men lived.  -General George S. Patton

Ok, ok, I feel better now!  Needed a whiskey water at camp!  (And a snickers bar).  I just expected to see at least a moose in over 230 miles in 2 days. I’ll take all this positivity to keep my head up! Thank you guys, and thanks again for all the PM’S .

Some snow is a good thing, help cut some fresh track and see them easier when glassing.

Talked to a couple from Idaho who had moose tags as well, for Idaho. They started sept 15th and haven’t seen anything!!  He is about ready to shoot a spike moose. He was also saying the elk hunting for them has been pretty bad as well.
