Go home Jerry. Save your vacation and come back when it gets good :twocents:
Should be good right now. Both moose hunts I've been on they were rutting hard right now.

I’ve personally seen more rutting activity in mid oct. when I shot my bull nov 1 there was 4-5 other bulls grunting and fighting over cows.
IMO hunting gets better later in oct.

I know exactly zero about moose but guys like bullblaster, shane, and Jonathan_s, know their stuff and when all the hardcore moose guys say later is better and I have an oct 1-Nov 30 season, I'm going later......or whenever they tell me to :chuckle:

Mainly I just like to pitch Jerry *censored* :chuckle:

Hard to not be in the woods opening day especially for a moose tag but damn late October through mid November is special
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Saw a few more tracks today, we are locked and loaded. Pretty surreal right now, having a night cap and dreaming!

Keep hunting Jerry, one of my guides called two bulls in last week and he's closing in on one of them right now as I write this. Bulls are rutting good, keep after them! Snow is tough, but if you kill a moose in a really tough to get to location I'll have one of my guides bring a snowmobile and come help you. I've got an extra guide in camp  for that purpose this week, I don't mind having him help you too.

I'll send you my number in a PM.

Amazing offer dale! Can’t thank you enough, I hoping the snow melts a bit this week. It’s pretty dang slippery up there, but I saw a cow today down lower and 3 different bull tracks in that area. I sat there All day and called about every 15 to 30 minutes, not sure if I’m doing it right but nothing responded. With the track and the cow I’m going back in tomorrow.  OR should I be driving around covering more ground??? I hate being Rookie at this!!
