Buddies went over Friday and killed their bull this weekend in your unit.  Shot it 70 yards above the road it sounded like.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

I might have talked with them, in a Toyota? The guys I saw loaded it whole, pretty cool!  I’ve know of 4 moose taken so far, one was supposed to be 50” but never saw it.
“In common with”..... not so much!!

Find the cows, and be patient.  WIND is your best friend and worst enemy.  They don't see well but they sure can smell.  Keep calling, and working it will happen for you Jerry!

Thanks guys, appreciate the well wishing. Today was the slowest since the hunt started, had some stormy weather this morning, and now it’s beautiful.  ZERO tracks in an area that usually has lots. Calling with no responses, hard at it but it is tough hunting right now.

Might be time for a big greasy cheese burger and a milk shake. Then back at the hills with a full tummy.

There are so many high's and low's to these hunts.

Hang in there man, it is slow right up until it is not.

Stay in the game, enjoy the rollercoaster ride, when it is done you will remember the highs.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

It seems like all of my hunts are slow until they aren't.  Keep up the faith - you got this

The burger hut in Usk has some good eats - maybe break-up the monotony and get back out there.

No special day other than the day you want one. I know what hunts like that are like. When you've been covering ground and not seeing anything, your eyes and mind begin to play tricks on you. Sometimes you just need a change of scenery and some grease. Has worked for me in the past. It usually works by forcing me to come to a screeching halt somewhere and bail into the woods with a roll of TP. Always bring your rifle, you never know what you might stumble onto...
