Came back to camp and had ham, bacon, sausage, eggs and fried potatoes!  That ought to get things turned around!  Lol.  Those bacon burgers in Ione are pretty darn good, we’ve been there a couple times. Heading back up to try some afternoon calling.

Saw the biggest track this evening I’ve ever seen, exactly in the area where a logger told me he saw the biggest bull of his life back in August.  This bull has got me fired up, I will sit in that area all day tomorrow.

Time to kill while standing here calling. Stayed at that spot where big foot was for 3 hours, nothing was happening, just froze to death.  Then got some info about a nice bull a bio saw this morning, been at that spot now for about an hour and half calling, still frozen but hopeful.  Sunny but cold as heck, nice moose getting killed this year!

Try not calling when you set up and just start raking some tree's with the bull magnet..peek their curiosity to come for a look. Sometimes calling makes em leary.. especially if your the 4,5 10th guy to call to em..

That's good advice. Also, why not just try tracking them? You have fantastic tracking conditions right now. If you are on tracks that you know are fresh, track those baby's down. This is coming from a guy sitting in a 70 degree office, eating a bagel.
I hunt, therefore I am.... I fish, therefore I lie.
