ladies pistol

I am wondering if any of you know of any small frame 22 mag pistols a tiny gal could conceal when jogging and stuff?

I would say a .44 Ruger Bisley in a shoulder holster....no one would mess with a little lady jogging with one of those.

S&W makes a great ladies .38.  very light, but it also adds to recoil by reducing weight.

Ruger makes the GP100 in a 2 in. model I believe.

taurus makes an lite weight .22 mag with a 2" barrel and adj. sights. buy one test it out and let me know how ya like it so I can buy one

I picked up a .32 Beretta Tomcat for this very purpose and my fiancee loves it.

I bought my wife a Tuaras 38sp Ultralight. Very concealed and she loves it. You can also get a 22LR five shot revolver that folds into a little case and clips to your waistband. The case is the handle when folded out.

My wife bought a S&W 642 for running/jogging a few years ago.  Airweight/hamerless/stainless.  We chose stainless because I wanted the other person to recognize it as a pistol (when pulled) and thought that it may be more visible than a blued pistol.  We experimented with holsters and finally went with an uncle mike's soft sided holster that has a plastic clip for inside the pant carry.  It is the cheapest holster that you can get but it has worked the best for her.  She carries her CWP inside the holster as most running shorts don't carry pockets.  She carries it above her right leg up front.  She prefers this location when running/jogging even with light weight running shorts.  I tried to get her to carry in the small of her back but that's o.k.  Who am I to say, she wore it when running up to 14 miles.    

I chose the .38 because the rounds are large enough that she can handle them easily and easier than .22 or .22 mags (when loading/unloading).  She originally wanted an auto but has fallen in love with her .38.  She shoots excellent with it and I mean excellent.   

One more thing, she loads it with 158gr copper plated round nose bullest (the target stuff), she doesn't like the recoil of anything else.  I made the mistake of putting in +P's for her once to practice and it took a while to get the flinch worked out.

She has pulled it out twice in anger.....for Dogs.

North American arms makes what you are looking for,might not be the best choice but i sure wouldnt want to get shot with one

Well probably one of the best and smaller sized 22's i can think of is the walther p22. ide get one for my little girl if i had one....perfect for a women or a child.

Great size, shoots AWESOME! semi-auto, and holds alot of bullets.....and walther will fix anything if you have a problem with the gun....and they come in all kinds of colors.....great if you wanna carry a smaller caliber. Mace would be just as good though also....straight stream across the face.....

I think Ruger makes the sp101 in .22. i'd rather see a .32 or .38 for the same size gun and maybe use standard pressure loads to control recoil. The new super light weight Ruger .38 revolver might work too. I can't remember the model number off the top of my head.
