still after any input? of note: found out the speedbead mount is burris only patent but you can put any red dot config on top from vortex to trijicon.

Have yet to Mount it but just bought a Trijicon Red Dot. Be shooting TSS 9’s and my POA vs POI is off quite a bit so hoping to get it dialed in on the 20ga. Lots of guys shooting the Burris FF3 and liking it to dial in .

I've used an old Millet red dot on my Beretta 391 12ga with success. It's now on my .22 rimfire carbine for steel matches. I would like to see the setup for the Burris. the old Burris mounted shim worked great for waterfowl.

I was looking at the Burris last year after @turkeydancer recommended I upgrade to a red dot. I couldn't justify the expense of the Burris when my fiber optic sights were already on the gun. I ended up looking into Sightmark, which is what turkeydancer had on his. I got a great deal on the Sure Shot and bought it for myself as a birthday present. Took my spring tom with it at 35 yards easy as pie. I talked it up so much my brother and dad have the same unit on their turkey guns now.

was looking to go this way with the mount that simply sandwiches between stock and action. On Benelli its a single bolt swap over. Seems a great thing for turkey setup...
as far as trijicon, seems that its 2x as expensive as other options for sight and on a shotgun (200$ish vs 500$), don't think it worth it?

I run a Holosun HS507c on a CZ Reaper Magnum.  2moa dot with a 32moa ring works really well.  The 32moa ring matches the pattern created by Winchester Longbeard XR #5 shot perfectly at 40yds.  Took a Tom this past spring at 35yds running away from me at full speed.  All pellets went to neck and head, dropped him on the spot.

I run that exact set up on my M2. I use the red dot for Turkey and take the dot off and leave the speedbead on when I Goose and Chucker hunt. I have never had a problem killing Turkey with out it but I really like it. Its fun putting a little red dot on their noggin and POW!

I ran a speed bead on my 870 and 1187, didn't like it much, flexed quite a bit and wouldn't always return to where it started.
I never hunted with it on, I could see where it would be handy, I just never trusted it myself.

I found mine on sale but cant remember where. It was a package deal with the Speed bead and FF3 together and it was cheaper than the typical FF3 price so basically got the Bead for free. Be patient and something might come around
