I cant hear if they are in area, but I do have GREAT eye because my life depends on my eye than ear,  I would like somone who willing help me learn how to hunt at my spot. If anyone interesting sent me pm pls and we can plann on meet some spot that I know of good place on open day.
My spot is in Kittias county or can go somewhere else and show me how to hunt better for me. Let me know.  :dunno:

Damn Mule that has to be a sonabeetch to hunt them with your hearing.  I never thought about how difficult it would be to hunt them and be deaf.
I dont know if I will be avail on opening weekend, as I already have made too many plans to cover..LOL
But if during the weeks after you still want to go, I would hook up with you.

Its not about filling my tag, its several commitments that I have already made.  I think maybe too many...LOL

It would be cool to get your hunt on film for you !  I have a friend who has a real nice HD camera just for that, I will see if I cant get her to film it.

Also would be a great opportunity to find out some information on the NWTF Wheelin' sportsmen...it's a program to offer hunting and outdoor activities to disabled folks. I know this state has had a rough time getting this off the ground due in part the lack of participants.

Mule I'm in the same boat as NWTFhunter but maybe later on in the season I would have no problem hooking up either. Plus I hunt mostly in Kitittas myself. So I'm usually near by anyway.

Hey mulehunter,  :hello: glad to hear of another deaf person enjoys hunting (i do not come across many in the woods). I my self am not deaf but my Father is. I have been hunting with him for many years up until recent heath conditions have limited his hunting.

I under stand what you go through and am glad to see you are continuing with what you love to do, dis pite you lack of hearing. I am the ears for my dad and know frustrations he goes through some times.

I would not mind getting with you some time for a hunt. Especially if you have the turkey in.......
(depending on schedules go)

Mule, I live in Ellensburg and I set my school schedule up so that I don't have to go to school until 11:00am M-Th, 12 on Friday. I'm going to hunt midweek quite a bit up here, so are you available to go midweek? If so, I'm game to try to call one in for you, just gotta be back for class.
