No moose for me. I spent 12 days hunting and saw,2 baby bulls on the first couple days in October.
Nine of the 12 were spent in November including the last 2 days of the season dawn to dark. Never saw another bull of any size. Yes it stings a bit.
Thanks to all that gave tips and wishes of good luck.

Sorry to hear that Scott. I was really hoping you would pull it off on the last day.

At most we saw 8 moose total, but more likely only 5 or 6, and a couple that we saw the same moose in nearly the same area more than once.
We also saw wolf sign and heard one howling. I was carrying my 338.

Man, when I saw the update I was hoping to open to victory pics!! Sorry it was not, but what a great opportunity, to chase moose with a tag in pocket knowing any minute could change the season and your hunting life. Congrats on giving it what you could, we all have dreams of how it will go but reality is totally different. You hunted until the end and that is awesome!!! Thanks for taking us along when you could.
