My hunting partner and I both drew our first choice antelope tags, and my daughter got her first choice as well. My daughter's hunt will be in late August, then I'll go back the first week of October for my hunt.

My 2nd choice antelope tag went from 100% to 3.5%

Needless to say I’m not going to be antelope hunting this year

Gotta get my 180” plus checked off for Wyoming.  Two weeks dedicated to the effort.

Dang.  Had 4 points for 82 lopes and didn't draw.  Was 100% with <3 last year.  Pretty disappointing.  Shouldn't have been surprised--this is my third year applying for units in Wyoming that I was guaranteed to draw the year before.

Drew a couple deer doe tags in 165 and wife drew an antelope antlerless tag.  I think we'll still go and just have a relaxed pace meat hunting trip.

I guess it's just not my year. Didnt get drawn for anything in any of the states I applied in. I'm pretty bummed. ID is my last chance.

Nothing for me but points. 9 for elk, 7 for deer and 11 for antelope now.

Wyoming is getting tougher and tougher to draw each year.  Even antelope, its crazy how much demand has gone up in the last ten years, I'm afraid to see what it will be 10 years from now, might need preference points for the doe hunts.

The three of us drew three region K deer tags, two unit 99 buck antelope buck tags, and one doe antelope tag.  Going to be a good year!

Unfortunately with western hunting being everywhere on TV,magazines & social media sites like this one, this is the future of out of state hunting. Especially when the economy is good & the regular working man can afford to participate. :twocents:
