Here I am. Sorry for not ckin in, Yes been up a lot cking out the area, putting in some miles and finding some great country in some dark deep canyons. Not seeing may bulls yet. Yes will be up there last of archery season, hope to get some intel from them and give them a hand if needed. Just hoping after last night no lighting strikes in our units. Thanks for all the help people I will take all ya can give me, yes to me this is once in a life time hunt.
not seeing many bulls? You are definitely not looking in the right spots then. See big bulls every time I go up.

Then throw him a bone!

Fair warning. Leave the tribal discussion out of this man’s thread.  He’s got a quality hunt permit and that’s what he started this thread to discuss.

I imagine theyll started scratching velvet today or last night even.   They are getting "itchy".  I was hoping to film it, but I had to walk away.

Was up there a few days ago. Ran into a herd that had to be 100 head. One nice bull and some smaller bulls. Great tag for sure.

Was up in the area on Monday with my son and ran into several spikes with cows, more spikes this year vs last year. Elk heard looked very healthy with a ton of calves. We didn’t see any bulls, but did hear a few within ear shot of a heard of 200+ elk!

Well I’m not sure he is willing to share what he’s been seeing, like trophyhunt said he might have a bull shot right out from under him and sold for jerky   :bash:

I don't bother during modern.  It's a zoo.  But would be glad to give info.
