Chiwiwa quality deer
« on: June 30, 2019, 07:35:47 PM »
I drew the Chiwiwa Quality deer for Muzzle loader and was wondering  if any of you have advise on what part of the unit I should concentrate more on. I don't want any body secret spots I just would like to here your opinions or past experience. I drew a quality bull tag as well and scouting will be limited for this tag. Thanks in advance

Pray for weather! I had the rifle tag in 2013. We had a lot of snow. The bucks were right at the snow line. The next year a good friend of mine had the same tag. Blue bird days the whole season and he didn’t see much. There are bucks there but it’s mostly dependent on weather. If the migration hits you will see decent bucks everyday. I won’t give you specific spots on blast but if you want more info shoot me a PM.

Hunt the Entiat side of the unit.

The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.

Youll have a great hunt! My advice would be learn the road system and be up there the weekend before season opens so you can see whats moving through the area and where doe are concentrated.
