Sol duc rut tag rifle
« on: June 30, 2019, 12:14:31 PM »
Anyone here ever draw this tag? My cousin drew this tag this year November 1st till late buck starts should be a fun time to be chasing the grey ghosts. If anyone has any insight or would like to post up some pics from previous years would like to see em... my cousin has already started scouting, and I will hopefully be able to help out if I can fill my white river bull tag. Which comes first :chuckle:

I've never deer hunted the Sol Duc, I spend most of my time in the Dickey and Goodman. I've seen an increase in deer in these units the last couple years including some nice bucks. Hopefully it's the same in the Sol DUc. I drew the Goodman buck deer tag this year which also starts Nov 1. I'll be able to hunt deer and elk at the same time this year which will be nice.

Good luck with your hunt.

Drew is 2 years ago.  It was a fun hunt.  I shot the first decent buck.  Passed bunch of spikes and 2 points.  I know this place holds some good bucks though.  Good luck and have fun.
Pm me if you have some questions.

Nice Stud blacky!
Only 2 defining forces sacrificed themselves for you:
The American Soldier and Jesus Christ. One died for your freedom, the other for your soul.

My rock,
He trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle.
