There have been some people ripped off here. Not many. I hope you stay. I really do.

So tonight if I posted 42 seperate posts that were absolutely worthless.... it would make me more worthy in the classified boards?

Just keep this thread going with your worthless posts and my guess is by midnight you will have the 50 posts required to access the classified section.

Yes every time you post, it counts towards your number of posts. How else do you think I would have got over 2500 posts?   :o

Ray, maybe you ought to change that to 100 posts required for the classifieds.   :chuckle:

People can reply to posts without posting anything though.  Problem is that they dont count to the 50 total posts.

Not sure what you are talking about :dunno:

I misunderstood what a "post: was.  I didnt think replies were being counted, and only new topic posts were counted to the 50 total.  I say this because I have replied a few times on the boards here, but didnt see my post counter move until now.    I am not as against the rule if Replies are considered a post.

Guess this is a good thread to up my post count. Over at Mopar Durango/Dakota board they have people that have post counts in the hundred thousands from threads started and posted in for the express purpose of upping personal count numbers. Couple hundred empty posts at a time by several "post whores".

I know I'm a new guy, but this should be interesting. I understand the reasoning behind it, but wont that deter new members? Maybe they will get the wrong idea? Like theyre not welcome, just my  :twocents:

Well that is the point isnt it? If the only reason they are joining this site is to take advantage of the number of members then who really cares if they dont join, not me :twocents:

The point is they are not welcome if they dont meet the 50 post criteria?

I agree I think it will get people more involved not just here to take advantage.
