Best Satellite Viewer For Scouting
« on: July 13, 2009, 02:18:01 PM »
Just curious what some of you have used for a Satellite Viewer for doing scouting via the internet. I have been using Google Maps but know there has to be a better one to use than that. Is it worth paying for some of the sites to see more up to date downloads  ?????

Only use I have for google is for rds in a area, so old the maps, pretty much a waste of time if they logged a area that you want to hunt. They are atleast 5 yrs old most everything on the google maps. I will deffinately will have to check out the links to others

All of them with god detail are OLD.  I hit the recommended links in that thread and none of them show my new house built 3 years ago in June.  Most of the images are 3-4 yrs old or older. :bash:

For some of my areas the Yahoo maps aerial shots are much better than google or google earth.

I also found a good map on Mapquest, although I wish it would maximize to full screen, also John L. Scott has some reasonably new sat photo's, but residential......
