Even though I don't like them, the Triple 7 Pellets worked just fine and the deer didn't care. I put a 300gr T/C ShockWave in him from about 90 yards. He didn't move a foot. Now I have plenty of time to work on a new BH209 load for next season.
If anyone in the Yakima Valley area wants half a box of Hodgdon Triple Seven .50cal 50gr pellets I would be happy to hook you up for a beer or two.
