Son's first deer
« on: October 26, 2007, 08:43:47 PM »
My youngest boy scored on his first deer tonight, a nice big fat whitetail doe.  80 yard shot sealed the deal, very short tracking job.  This is my third boy to harvest a deer and it just makes me so dang proud of them all.  I'll post a photo in a couple of days, since I only had the 35mm.   :hunter:

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield
