Depending on the setting 24-72 hours, idaho has a lot of repeat names but if this is the fish creek off highway 12 they either ended up there by accident or the guy is a complete idiot.  More wolves then you can shake a stick at and no roads.

Thats Fish creek  in north Idaho by Twin and spirit lake I am pretty sure-its got a bunch of IEP land. Bear season been closed up there for 3 weeks  :chuckle:  Maybe they were running raccoons. Either way I will put the word out I used to hunt that area quite a bit. I think the dogs look to be in pretty good shape. Doubtfull they been out too long who knows.

These two are all over Facebook.  Hopefully the owner finds out.  Looks like a Walker and a Plott.

That fish creek is in unit 2 and there's no training season there either. Hard to believe the dogs wouldn't have walked clear out of there since season closed three weeks ago?  :dunno:

First step would probably getting out behind yours though  ;) but if they come pre-trained and fully equipped it sure makes the pitch a lot easier to sell!

Hopefully they find their home.  We would always leave one of our shirts or jackets where we turned them out if they got lost or split up on a race.  Many times we would find them laying on the shirt or jacket in the morning

Can you put new batteries in their collars or recharge them? maybe the owner could track them then? I know its been a while but is it worth a shot?

They are rechargeable, but the distance is limited, best case 7 to 9 miles in perfect conditions.  Would be very unlikely.
