Multi-season OTC
« on: July 08, 2019, 03:57:35 PM »
Anyone know what the date will be for when those who didn't draw can buy their multi-season tag OTC?

Should be August 1st is my guess.

Thanks!  Has it ever been on a weekend?  I'm thinking probably the 9th or 12th then.  Thanks, this is the first ti.e I've not been drawn for deer.

I called in to check on precisely this last week, and they said that since July 31 falls fairly late in the week, it would almost certainly be the following week (so probably sometime between 8/5 and 8/9).

I was concerned about timing, as I'm going to be out of the country until 8/7, but the gal I talked to said that in previous seasons they had yet to sell out of the multi-season tags, so they anticipate tags being available, at the very least, well into the season.

So I don't have the knowledge you gents do.  Are these multi-season tags that people were drawn for and they don't end up purchasing?  The multi-season was the only one I put in for and was not drawn for (not surprising as I have no points and it was my first year trying).  I would be interested in purchasing one so any input would be appreciated.  I'm surprised to hear they say they have them into the beginning of the season but with so many Washington hunting haters maybe it make sense.

Thanks for any input you might be willing to offer.  PM is fine too.

I don’t recall, are you only eligible if you put in for multi season and didn’t draw?  Are there ever deer tags left for those that didn’t put in for it?

I am pretty sure you have to have applied for the permit to be eligible for the left overs, but I could be wrong. I would guess that's why they never sell out  :dunno:

Where to they list them when they're available? This was the first year I put in for the multi season tags since I decided to slum it an buy a muzzleloader. :chuckle:

Pretty much top secret... well, that is if you mention it around the 8th to the 10th. Some people get worked up and let you know that you shouldn't be reminding anybody about it. Keep the competition at bay. I won't let you know that it'll be around the 10th just so no one gets mad at me.
